Sara Mayhew, Group Financial Controller, Premier Medical Group
Sara is a graduate of Exeter University, with a BA (Hons) in English 1985, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton in 1988.
A variety of finance roles soon followed at Avis Europe between 1989 and 1997. Sara became Financial Controller and then Financial Director of the consumer products division at Psion from 1997 to 2001.
2002 to 2007 included a variety of commercial finance and change management contract roles, with 2 years at Prudential. In this time, Sara also graduated BSc (Hons) 1st class Psychology from the Open University.
Sara joined Premier Medical Group in 2009 as interim Financial Controller, becoming permanent Group Financial Controller.
Having previously been a keen cyclist, Sara expects it will be some years before riding from Lands End to John O’Groats again! Two young boys now take up most of her time.
