Dr Harry Brünjes BSc, MB BS, DRCOG, FEWI
Chairman
A graduate of London University, Harry qualified at Guys Hospital before working as a hospital doctor, general practitioner, senior partner and police surgeon before establishing his own practice in Harley Street.
Currently Chairman of the Premier Medical Group, Harry has also chaired the Personal Injury Forum at BUPA, and held posts as Chairman of RTA Ltd and Kuro Healthcare. He is currently President of the Brighton & Sussex Medico-Chirurgical Society.
A founder member of the Expert Witness Institute, Harry was made a Fellow in 2002 and now Chairs the EWI Development Committee. Between 2003 and 2005, he was Chairman of the Association of Medical Reporting Organisations.
In between, Harry devotes time as Vice-Chairman of Lancing College, Governor of Bedford School, and Fellow of the Woodward Corporation.
Married to Jacquie, with whom he has four children, Harry enjoys all sports, in particular golf, soccer and cricket. For several years he played piano professionally, including on television and in the theatre. This in turn led to after-dinner speaking, and he is a regular and respected writer, broadcaster and lecturer.
Jason Powell BA (Hons), ACMA, MBA (Cranfield)
Chief Executive Officer
Jason achieved a First Class degree in Business Studies before training as a Chartered Management Accountant and taking an MBA at Cranfield. He has held posts as Commercial Director at BPCC, and Financial Controller at BUPA where he was responsible for business planning and supplier engagement for the £7.5m Indian Outsourcing project. He became BUPA’s Head of Business Innovation in 2002 where he worked on a range of Rehabilitation, Insurance and Childcare services.
Jason joined Premier in 2006 as Managing Director and is now Chief Executive Officer of the Premier Medical Group, formed by the merger of Premier Medical Ltd and Medico Legal Reporting Ltd.
He is married with two children, a keen sportsman and dedicated runner counting the BUPA Great North Run, the Cumbria Challenge, the Three Peaks Challenge and Coast to Coast among his achievements.
Jeremy Ellison BSc (Hons), FCA
Chief Financial Officer
Jeremy qualified with Deloittes before moving into the VC sector where he eventually became Financial Director and then Managing Director of a VC backed enterprise. Another Board level appointment followed before he was recruited as Commercial and Finance Director of Medico-Legal Reporting in 2002, moving up to become Chief Executive Officer in 2006.
As a result of the merger between Premier Medical and Medico-Legal Reporting, Jeremy joined the enlarged group as Chief Financial Officer.
Dr Bob Goodall MBChB, DRCOG DA (Eng), MEWI
Medical Director
After graduating from Birmingham in 1979 Bob gained ‘post-grad’ diplomas in Gynaecology and Anaesthetics working in Midland hospitals. He then worked as a principal in General Practice and a hospital practitioner in anaesthetics before becoming medical adviser to Premier Medical upon its formation. Bob was appointed Premier's Chief Medical Officer in 2002 and is currently Medical Director for the Premier Medical Group. He is a member of the Expert Witness Institute.
Basil Nally BA (Hons), Dip M, Dip FM
Sales Director
A Business graduate of Limerick University, Basil also completed the CIM Diploma in Marketing and went on to rise to Head of Divisional Sales at the British Safety Council. A variety of posts at BUPA Wellness led to an appointment as Head of Sales at BUPA Recover, where he had a three year strategic role leading to significant growth in the business.
Basil joined Premier in 2007 and brings a deep understanding of the personal injury sector and the importance of applying evidence-based practice in the provision of treatment to injured parties. His role as Sales Director at Premier Medical Group is to further develop the excellence of the customer experience.
In his spare time Basil is a keen traveller with plans to explore the Inca Trail in Peru. He enjoys the occasional round of golf and still finds time to visit his family in Ireland.
Rob Granger ACIB, CIPD
Operations Manager, Ludlow
Rob started his working life in retail banking, became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and worked as a Branch Manager, Group Customer Services Manager and Senior Branch Manager. After 17 years he moved from Banking into the Mortgage and Pensions industry, before joining Premier as Office Manager in 1999. Currently he is Operations Manager for the Ludlow office, with responsibility for work processes and HR.
Julie Osborn
Operations Manager, Pangbourne
Julie began her career in the NHS and Private Practice working with consultants of all specialities before taking five years out to bring up two daughters. Julie joined Medico-Legal Reporting in 1996 and has moved through Team Leader to Office Manager roles, to her current position as Operations Manager at the Pangbourne office where she is responsible for work processes and HR.
