7th November 2007, Dr. Harry Brunjes Chairman of PMG and President of the Sussex Medical Society, and his wife Jacquie, welcomed Lord Owen.
Dr. Brunjes introduced Lord Owen by stating that although they both had St. Thomas’s Hospital on their Curriculum Vitae, their careers had followed significantly different paths.
David Owen discussed his recently published book, ‘In Sickness and Power – Illness in the heads of government during the last 100 years.’
David Owen revealed his considerable knowledge both as a medic and politician, by answering a range of questions from the audience.
