PMG Prague football-fives
10th October 2008, Premier Medical Group for the first time assembled a football team to compete in the Euro-five-side football competition in Prague.
The team consisted of CEO Jason Powell, Sales Director Basil Nally, media partner Harry Brunjes Jnr, Wells Powell (brother of Jason), Chris Nelson (Saga) & Jason Claxton (Cogent Law) and goalkeeper Rupert Neal (Barclays).
Conditions were wet and hazy, and on a reliable astro-turfed field, the team gelled instantaneously in true patriotic style, knocking up a high goal tally and reaching the final. The opposition consisted of a number of competitive local sides together with traveling corporate teams from across Europe.
A success all round, plans are afoot to defend their hard earned title next year in Barcelona.
