The Thatcher Years
6th June, 2007, Dr. Brunjes welcomed his colleague Lord Parkinson to the Sussex Medical Society.
Lord Parkinson, Chairman of Professional Medical Finance, of which Dr. Brunjes is a Director. Lord Parkinson is obviously better know for his long career in politics and was a pivotal member of the Thatcher government. With minimal notes, Cecil Parkinson detailed his years in power which included memorable moments of Margaret Thatcher and in particular the Falklands war. Lord Parkinson was a member of the select war cabinet. The talk was a great success and was followed by a private dinner at Ovingdean Grange.
