CEO Jason Powell wins 'Entrepreneur of the Year'
30/07/09, Jason Powell CEO of Premier Medical Group has been awarded as a recipient of the 2009 Ernst & Young ‘Entrepreneur of the year’ award for the North and Midland Region.

The Ernst & Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award is a global programme held in 135 cities across 50 countries running over 23 years with an elite alumni and illustrious history. The awards recognise the passion and drive behind entrepreneurial businesses and social enterprise, whether private or listed, family-owned or private equity backed, across all commercial and industrial sectors and at any stage of business development.

Jason as a regional winner, will now progress through to the national competition along with 50 other business leaders from 45 companies across the UK. His achievements were summarised in the awards ceremony speech:
“For Jason entrepreneurship is about owning ideation and inspiration, the integrity to recognise and adopt other people’s good ideas, astute commercial judgment tempered with patience, the passion to infuse team energy and the determination to drive and deliver a project profitably to market. As CEO of PMG he demonstrates exactly that, adding strategic acquisition to innovation within the core business to increase YOY turnover by 14% whilst raising profits 45%. At the same time he has relocated the now market-leading PMG operation to an eco-business park integral to the local community. ‘Entrepreneurs,’ he says, ‘should always grasp the holistic opportunity.”
