Premier launches major recruitment drive
21st April 2008 – Premier Medical Group, the UK ’s largest provider of medical opinion, has today launched a major recruitment drive aimed at attracting more recently-qualified General Practitioners (GPs) into medico-legal reporting work as a component of a portfolio career.
The move to recruit new GPs follows in the wake of the recent merger between Premier Medical and Medico-Legal Reporting, two of the market’s leading providers. It is designed to grow its database of experts across all medical faculties and significantly expand the company’s capacity to provide medical opinion [on injuries] to insurers and solicitors.
Premier Medical Group’s recruitment drive, which is being supported by a full marketing and advertising campaign, is aimed at newly-qualified GPs across England , Scotland and Wales . The Group offers guarantees on the volume of work provided, together with training and mentoring from senior practitioners with experience of medico-legal evidence work.
Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Group Medical Director, Dr Bob Goodall, said:
