Premier Medical appoints Mark Adams as Non-Executive Director
15th September 2008 – Premier Medical Group (Premier Medical), the UK ’s largest provider of medical opinion, has appointed Mark Adams as Non Executive Director.

Mark Adams is currently Chief Executive Officer of Virgin Healthcare and was previously CEO of Netcare and AXA PPP. In addition to his duties as a director, Mark will play a key role in helping to shape the future strategy of the group.

His past experience in public and private healthcare will be of considerable value in developing our primary care strategy and will compliment well the existing skills and experience of the board.”

Mark has worked in healthcare for 25 years. Before joining Virgin Healthcare in 2007, he spent two years as Chief Executive of Netcare Healthcare UK . Prior to that, he advised Pru Health on market entry as a senior NED. Corporate Services Group, PPP Healthcare, Medacs & Blue Arrow and Denplan are just some of the blue-chip businesses he has led as CEO. Mark is also actively involved with the British Quality Foundation and Common Purpose as a non-executive director.
