Premier Medical Group dives in to help Ludlow swimmers
Friday 6th March 2009 – Ludlow-based Premier Medical Group (PMG), a leading provider of medical reports in the UK , aims to create a bit of a splash by sponsoring Ludlow Swimming Club, a voluntary group for local swimmers aged five years and over as part of its programme of supporting the local community in which it operates.

The company, which is located in Premier House, Eco Business Park in Ludlow , will subsidise part of the Club’s team kit, worn by its members at competitions in the national league against rivals from Coventry , Derby and Worcester , as well as at other local leagues and county galas.
Dr Harry Brünjes, Chairman of Premier Medical Group, said : “We have been based in Ludlow for many years and have an ethos within the company to give something back to the local community. We are delighted to be supporting our local swimming club and to help the efforts of those who compete for it on a local and national stage.”
Pat Bayliss, Club Administrator at Ludlow Swimming Club, said: “This donation is a massive help for our Club and its members. The kit helps to promote a professional image of the Club, which is the smallest in Shropshire . We compete regularly and successfully against much larger City clubs such as Derby , Coventry and Worcester , retaining league one status in the National League at the end of 2008. Help towards the costs in this area is very welcome.”
Other recent local PMG initiatives include the £5,000 sponsorship of Ludlow New Voices, part of the Ludlow Choral Society, over the next three years. PMG has a “We Love Ludlow” section on its own website extolling the virtues of the town and its surrounding countryside with information on its history and attractions.
