Premier Ludlow offices officially open
Fifty new jobs are to be created in Ludlow with a move together by one of the town’s biggest employers and its sister company, it was revealed today.
Premier Medical has moved from its premises on Ludlow Industrial Estate to Ludlow Eco Park, 200 metres away.
The move has meant expansion for the business with an extra twenty five jobs created. The company’s sister firm Rapid Trauma Assessment will also be relocating to the site from Brighton at the end of this month, creating a further tweny five jobs.
Dr Harry Brünjes, chairman of the two firms, said today: "This is a very exciting time for the company. There are major opportunities ahead and the business will continue to expand."
"We are delighted to be moving the two companies under one roof."
The official opening of the new premises was due to take place in the afternoon with Ludlow MP Philip Dunne and Dr Brünjes cutting the ribbon.
Dr Brünjes added: "I am grateful for the support of the Ludlow community and, importantly, our excellent staff for the success and progress which has been achieved since our move to Ludlow. This move has been eagerly awaited since this project was first conceived in 2002."
Premier Medical is a provider of independent medical resource and opinion to major insurance companies, solicitors, trade unions, motoring organisations and professional bodies. The business originally started in Brighton in 1995 and began to develop in Ludlow more than six years ago with five staff.
Dr Brünjes said: "This strategy has been achieved due to the high quality of staff that the company has managed to recruit in the area."
